San Diego's Arts-Rec is rumored to have a Nike SB collaboration in the works.
Founded by Kellen James in 2018, the skate shop has established itself as the premier destination for not only fans of the sport, but also sneaker enthusiasts. Over the last six years, Arts-Rec has launched handfuls of high profile Nike and Jordan Brand products, which will reportedly include its own Nike SB Dunk Low and Nike SB Air Trainer 1 (you read that right).
First reported by Romania-based Sneaker Market, the inaugural collaboration is likely to release between July and September based on internal Nike documents reviewed by the outlet. Arts-Rec's Nike SB capsule reportedly features a combination of fall-friendly colors–including 'Khaki/Amber Brown' on the Dunk and 'Earth/Desert Sand' on the cross-trainer. It's possible each color scheme has drawn inspiration from the San Diego area and some aspect close to James' personal story.
